Throughout the course of the modern history of this great nation, soldiers have sacrificed their lives for the greater good in the highest traditions of the armed forces of this grateful nation. The martyrs depart this mortal plane, but their legacy lives on through their stories of valour and through monuments dedicated to them. Naaz E Hind is one such epitome of tribute to our two Ashok Chakra awardees, Col Jojan Thomas, CO 45 RR and Nk Neeraj, 57 RR.
At the same time, it is also the symbolic gesture towards the nation and the spirit of nationalism emphasised by the majestic 100 ft Tri Colour towering over the Machhal valley.
The looming 100 ft national flag over the Machhal valley is significant to the national spirit and the sacrifices made by the soldiers and the locals over the years in the process of maintaining the sanctity of the land they strived to protect.
